ABOUT ME

I was raised in a Navy family and spent half my childhood living overseas in Japan, Greece and Puerto Rico, attending Department of Defense schools. I mostly homeschooled my five children starting in 1999, but also used public, private, online and co-op programs. I obtained my master's degree in Education Leadership in 2018 and hold a 2nd master's in Political Science.

As a homeschool mom, I spent over 20 years researching and applying best education practices for my own children, but have also participated in the Denver Math Fellows program, tutored students in English and math from 4th grade through first year college and currently teach English as a Second Language. My graduate programs only solidified my premise that homeschool approaches are superior to other education methods.
